About Captain Gavin

I grew up in the Mystic, Connecticut area graduating from Foreman Schools in Litchfield, Connecticut and then attended college at Savannah College of Art and Design for video production and photography.

 

I worked as a white water raft guide during the spring and summer months in Jackson, Wyoming on the Snake River canyon for 14 seasons and pursued a captain's career during the summer months.

I am an avid outdoorsman and have always gravitated to activities on any body of water.

My folks joke that my dad had me in the water before I could walk.

 

After the tragic events of 9/11 I was inspired to work in state and federal law enforcement in which I served for many years.

 

I moved from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to the Florida Keys three years ago, working as a boat captain and Padi scuba instructor.

Blessed with the opportunity to start my own business, I recently became a first time dad with twins with my wife Tiffany.

I have a diverse background that gives me the opportunity to relate to all the wonderful guests I meet everyday day as a boat captain.

I'm very safety conscious without stresses providing service with with passion and being humbled to be able to experience life with so many people.
